Gianfranco Ghidossi’s great passion for wine inspired him to build the first winery in Cadenazzo. After the first few hairpins of the Monte Ceneri pass, the designer winery conceived by architect Aurelio Galfetti in 1992 meets the eye. The company produces a small output of wines, as father and son set great store by the quality of their creations.
This steadfast approach over the years has earned them their first national and international awards.
In 2010, the construction of the new winery with a dedicated tasting area began in Croglio in the Malcantone area. Garlanded by the vineyards, this new facility was designed by architect Luca Moro and completed by Gianfranco Ghidossi; it blends seamlessly into its surroundings, a land of wood and stone.
